Royal Borough of Greenwich
We created these fantastic new facilities in Shooters Hill, Greenwich, to provide equine education and recreational riding for the local community. Work included construction of indoor and outdoor arenas; a horse therapy centre, which includes a horse swimming pool, spa and solarium; a teaching centre which includes laboratories and lecture rooms; a number of barns and outbuildings; and the installation of a horse walker. On top of that, we refurbished a large derelict building on the site to house a café, two maisonettes, changing rooms, showers and tack rooms.
This Olympic Legacy Project was jointly funded by Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Olympic Delivery Authority, Sport England and the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
