Kimberly-Clark Inc

CorEnergy continues to work with Kimberly-Clark having initially been appointed in 2016 to design and install LED lighting and controls across its UK sites. Projects involved upgrading the lighting at manufacturing sites in Northfleet, Kent, Flint in North Wales and Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, the largest manufacturing site in Europe.

Due to the nature of the sites, the projects required robust solutions which can perform reliably in environments in which tissue particles cause ingress and overheating.

The projects have involved designing and installing at height, in busy 24/7 operating manufacturing and logistics sites, wastewater treatment and chemical areas and locations which required bespoke solutions.

CorEnergy was appointed as the Main Contractor to design compliant solutions, utilising high quality and UK tested fittings for mains and emergency lighting, many with integrated controls for daylight and occupancy functionality. The sites are large with many different operating environments and tasks performed. We are proud to have delivered the works, over a number of years safely with the targeted energy and carbon savings identified having been achieved.
