Appointed as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, the project was specified following a comprehensive design process with long-term savings achieved by specifying high quality and reliable UK luminaires and control solutions.

Covering mains lighting and emergency lighting design and compliance, the project was supported by long-term warranties and was safely delivered for a fixed cost budget and commissioned ahead of programme.

The project was carefully designed to ensure minimal lighting pollution in the local areas and with sensitively selected luminaire colour temperatures to ensure any impact on the wildlife and environment was minimised.

Comprehensive financial and carbon modelling was undertaken by CorEnergy along with support to the Council in securing funding from Salix Finance.
