Smoke Control Systems direct the heat and smoke from a localised fire event by natural or mechanical extraction. This is performed by Vents opening to the outside of the building or to a shaft that exits the roof of the building.

Smoke control Systems are designed to protect the escape route in a building in the event of a localised fire by extracting the heat and smoke (naturally or mechanically).

Outside the building. We undertake regular testing of thes systems,  which are recommended in the British standards BS9999 and B7346-8. This ensures operational capability in the un-wanted event of a fire.
