With many social housing providers at the beginning of their energy transition journey, the Sureserve Group has the expertise, knowledge and vision to act as long-term partners, able to support clients through all stages of this transformation, from experienced resident liaison services to energy efficiency and renewable technology consultancy, delivery and grant funding advice.

With this in mind the Group hosted our first Renewables Conference at the end of March 2023, inviting current and potential clients, shareholders, analysts and partners interested in hearing what our businesses currently do in the area of renewable technology and energy efficiency, and finding out more about what the Group’s plans are for the future.

The event was held at Widnes Vikings Stadium, the site of a large-scale decarbonisation project delivered by Sure Maintenance last year for Halton Borough Council, and a fantastic example of the type of projects the Group is doing more and more of.

Speaking about the event, Peter Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Sureserve Group said "With our gas businesses seeing increases in the percentage of renewable measures installed each year, and the deep industry knowledge that CorEnergy, Providor and Everwarm bring to the Group, Pat Coleman, Managing Director at Sure Maintenance, suggested a dedicated conference was a great idea. The series of talks on funding streams, project consultancy and our capacity for delivering and maintaining a range of renewable and energy efficiency measures, together with tours of the stadium, really showed delegates the scale of the exciting decarbonisation projects we're delivering to clients currently".

The event was a great success and there are plans to deliver something similar again in the future, looking at different regions the Group operates in and introducing other fantastic projects currently being delivered.
