We place the communities in which we work at the heart of everything we do, and this means being involved beyond our immediate role as a renewable energy services provider.

What it means:

  • Assist with the alleviation of fuel poverty and promote energy efficiency for those living in fuel poverty, across the UK
  • Support the delivery of apprenticeships, employment opportunities, and skills development in the communities in which we work
  • Develop a comprehensive Social Value offer, that champions and supports community-led initiatives that tackle key social issues

The Group's targets:

  • Help 1 million people living with fuel poverty by 2030
  • Raise £1 million for the Sureserve Foundation by 2030
  • Educate one million households on energy efficiency by 2030
  • Deliver £10 million of economic investment to our local communities by 2030
  • Emergency Fuel Vouchers for vulnerable households

Emergency Fuel Vouchers for vulnerable households

The Sureserve Foundation, working with Aaron Services and other businesses within the Group, provided in excess of 900 emergency fuel vouchers to individuals, families and households in need and who otherwise would have been unable to heat their home over the 3 month winter period.

    Helping community food banks

The team at Aaron made a recent donation to Colchester FoodBank in support of our local contract and community.

Helped by Colchester Borough Homes Tenant Liaison Officer Mo Cooper our MD David Lummis presented our cheque to Michael Beckett Foodbank CEO. This is one of the many projects we've undertaken to assist foodbanks recently, and you can find out more on our LinkedIn page.
