North Lanarkshire Council

Through an open tendering process, Everwarm secured a measured term contract with existing client North Lanarkshire Council.

The scope of works includes the installation of renewables solutions across the region to improve heating standards and increase affordable warmth within the local authority’s own social housing stock. Both 5kW and 8.5kW Mitsubishi Monobloc air source heat pump (ASHP) units are being installed.

Many of North Lanarkshire’s communities are off the gas grid. Through this programme, the council are seeking to address the imbalance of what has readily been available to on-gas tenants, whilst adopting clean renewable solutions.

Multiple locations have benefitted from measures to date, including:

  • Salsburgh
  • Banton
  • Shotts
  • Greengairs.

Homes are also eligible for solar photovoltaic (PV) installs where appropriate to realise additional money saving benefits and increased energy efficiency.

When completed, over 300 homes across the local authority area will have had renewable solutions installed. Customer satisfaction has been excellent to date – a testament to the success of our approach across the region.
