To celebrate Customer Service Week 2017 the Lakehouse Group ran a five day campaign of communications to our employees across the UK talking about the importance of customer service to our businesses. With discussions, a video, statements from our Board of Directors and a quiz, the week culminated with our very own Customer Service Award, recognizing an employee who had gone to great lengths to deliver excellent customer service, and most importantly was nominated by colleagues and managers.

Lucy Toner, working for Everwarm in Bathgate, was chosen for outstanding customer services and in the words of her colleagues, “going above and beyond to help customers, taking calls out of all departments and always being very polite and pleasant”.

Executive Chairman Bob Holt summed up the week saying " The development and long-term prosperity of our business is reliant on every individual committing to a shared ethos of customer care; from the very top of the organisation, starting with me and the Board, to the office based employees across the country, to the individuals working out in our communities on a daily basis. Every one of us has a responsibility to make Lakehouse's commitment to our customers the very best that it can be, and it is this commitment that lies at the heart of our success moving forward."
